So I just checked the pdf and it appears that saving it in pdf format gave it this weird bumpy texture. That was not in my original artwork and I have no idea why it's doing that.

Slice of Life
Late night conversations are
usually something I enjoy. That sweet feeling you get, knowing that you’re just
too infatuated with the person on the other line to hang up and go to bed. But
tonight, things didn’t go as planned. And now I’m stuck in a conversation that
I don’t want to be in.
Me: “Huh?”
Him: “Don’t play stupid with me.”
Me: “I’m not trying to, I just don’t…”
Him: “Just listen to me. What I have been trying to tell you
is important and I need to know what you think.”
Me: “I just don’t understand.”
Him: “How can you not?”
Me: “Cuz… I don’t know”
Him: “Well, this is weird”
Me: “Well…”
He: “…”
Me: “…ugh…”
Him: “What?”
Me: “I can’t talk right now.”
Him: “Why?”
Me: “Cuz, there’s people around…”
Him: “So?”
Me: “And you’re just getting mad.”
Him: “…”
Me: “…”
Him: “...”
Me: laughs, “That dog over there. Haha his legs are
so stubby they don’t bend.”
Him: giggles
Me: “Oh my goodness that thing I just flopping around like a
fish out of water hahahaha!”
Him: “Haha”
Me: “We should get a dog when we move in together.”
Him: “haha yeah… wait, what?”
Me: “…”
Him “So you really want to?!”
Family Story
Little Katya has just turned 3. Her
bright blue eyes are filled with so much joy and excitement on this very
special day in December that you would never even know she is completely
covered with Chicken Pox. The Rosario Family of 4 will be spending their Christmas
Holiday in Puerto Rico, so because of this Santa decided to stop by early and
leave Katya and her older brother Danny their Christmas presents before they
leave the house.
Santa didn’t want to make it
completely easy for them though. Since they are getting their presents earlier
than any of the other kids in the world he has hidden all of their presents
around the house for Katya and Danny to go find them. Katya and Danny sit on
the couch with their faces buried into the seats, counting all the way to 100
when Santa promised that all the presents would be ready.
Danny, the better counter of the
two, counts starting from one. Giggles of happiness over come him with every
number he counts. Katya, being only 3 years old, does not quite understand how long
counting to 100 can take, She keeps turning around and saying “Ready yet!” But
her mom and dad quickly tell her to wait a little longer.
Confused again, Katya turns around
to see if the presents are there yet. And much to her surprise there they are! She
can see them hiding behind furniture, under the table, and a few are out in
plain sight.
“Danny Danny! They’re ready! Look
the presents are here!” Danny is still at 80, so he keeps his eyes closed until
he is done counting. Katya begins to push Danny and make him turn around and
look. “Danny look the presents they’re already here.
“You have to wait Katya!” Danny
exclaims while finishing his count. “100! There now we can look.” Danny opens
his eyes and turns around. He quickly catches sight of the biggest box in the
living room and dashes towards it. He grabs hold of that box and ferociously
rips off all the wrapping paper to reveal… “A Keyboard!! This is just what I
wanted!” And out of his excitement he immediately starts beating on the
keyboard box as if they were a pair of bongo drums.
Katya now dashed for a set of large
boxes that are hidden underneath the table- a perfect place for a little girl
to fit. She pulls the large boxes out from under the table and immediately
begins to unwrap them. “It’s a kitchen!” Katya jumps with joy at the sight of
seeing her very own toy kitchen, perfect for playing house. She tries t pull it
out of its large box when suddenly her mom catches her attention with another
large box.
“Katya, look at this one! What is
this?” her mom said.
“Is that for me?” Katya asks.
“I think so. Open it!”
Her mom puts the gift on the ground
and Katya immediate begins to open it. After taking off the first layer of
wrapping paper it only reveals a long cardboard box. Knowing that there is more
to this box she begins to pry open the edges to see what is inside. Her Dad
comes over to help open the box. Once they crack it open Katya starts to pull
another box out of the cardboard box. The bright pink box is slowly
revealed. Then the “Barbie” logo can be
clearly seen on the box. Katya gasps and drops the box.
“IT’S BARBIE! ITS MY SIZE BARBIE!”
“It is but you gotta take it out
Katya!” Says her mom. She rushes to pick the box back up and pulls out the “My
Size Barbie” box. “This is everything I ever wanted! She is my size!” Katya
then rips open the “My Size Barbie” box and pulls Barbie out of it. Katya is so
happy she begins to laugh uncontrollably. She gives Barbie a hug as if they had
been best friends for all the three years of her life. She dances with the
Barbie and tries to stand her up but she falls over.
“Oh no she fell! She can’t stand
up.” Katya says. She picks her up and holds her hand to take her to the kitchen
where Katya begins to play with the best Christmas presents she has ever had.

Dream Story
I felt like writing out the whole story would have take pages and pages so I broke it up into 7 story points.
1. Girl wakes up and realizes she is dead.
2. She is automatically given a task to do. She is now responsible for carrying the burdens of the living who have lost a loved one. She finds this task is not desriable and wants to find out more about these "tasks"
3. She asks other dead people she encounters and everyone tells her the same thing: you don't wanna mess with that. The man in charge rules over everything. You can't change it and you don't want to mess with him. No one knows how to reach him and no one wants to know how. No one knows how to escape. But there is talk about some spirits that disappear, and no one knows what has happened to them since.
4. She figures that if she purposely does not do her task then the guy in charge will have to call her up. So she does. And she is called. She is taken to a building where the big man resides. At the entrance to the building there is a big white glowing hallway. She asks the person next to here what that is. They say to here that any one that goes through there is never seen again. No one knows whats on the other side of that door.
5. She is taken to a room where she will meet with the guy in charge. She sits at a desk with a light shining only on her, and then a voice speaks to her. Its the man in charge. She gets lectured. She tries to negotiate with the big guy but he doesn't budge. She realizes this is going nowhere, so she gets up and makes a run for it.
6. She busts the door open and starts to run down the hall, towards the big white glowing door. People stare at her as she goes by. No one tries to stop her. She comes up to the door and goes through. Big white flash. Everything is blank.
7. Now in a hospital rooms, a mother looks at her newborn child who just happens to resemble the girl from the story.
